The owner of VIVID FIGHTWEAR, Haley Wellman, and her husband Frank have been working together to introduce the fightwear apparel line at a variety of major MMA events in Washington and surrounding areas. It came to no surprise to anyone that they were working on something big and getting in contact with the right people at just the right time. Haley who has owned a photography studio, graphic and sign shop and a custom embroidery and apparel shop - along with Frank's extensive marketing & merchandising background, (and having wrestling and martial arts background) came up with a design, a logo, and a plan. Wanting to offer quality and comfortable fightwear- not just for the fighters but for those who support them, those who participate in Martial Arts, and even those who just like the look and feel of the line and what it stands for.
VIVID FIGHTWEAR has the capability of providing multiple products within the industry. We create all of our custom cage banners, custom apparel, signs and graphics and other marketing materials in-house. For all your custom needs contact us directly.
Yes, the logo is a dragon- But what you may not be aware of is the fact that it is indeed a Norse dragon. While the symbolism and meaning in different cultures may differ slightly ; many meaning good luck and success, others meaning power and war. The Norse dragon was the first thing people would see when the Vikings ships rushed ashore. They were 'warriors' But the Norse Vikings had a lifestyle that included the the nine noble virtues, (their code of ethics) that many are unaware of, and it's represented with VIVID FIGHTWEAR-
Courage The Vikings were known for their courage and bravery in battle, but courage applies to more than simply being brave in battle. Courage actually applies to every part of your life
Truth Truth is simply being honest about what you believe or know to be true and right.
Honor Your personal honor is determined internally by your own commitment to live up to your predetermined ethics.
Fidelity The word fidelity simp ly means being faithful to yourself and your beliefs, to your family, and to your friends.
Discipline Discipline, as referred to in the Nine Noble Virtues, mostly means self-discipline. Having control over our actions.
Hospitality The warrior is expected to treat others with respect and dignity.
Industriousness simply means the willingness to work hard at whatever you do. If something is worth doing, do it well.
Self-Reliance Do your best not to have to depend on other people for your welfare.
Perseverance You must not give up.
